WHAT TO EXPECT ON A SUNDAY MORNING
Check-in Process:
K2 Town is located on the second floor in our new Children’s Center. A greeter will be at the top of the stairs to greet both child and parent and show them to the information booth which will help them check-in. After checking in, the child will receive a nametag and the parents will receive a temporary bar code. Parents may walk their child to the theater where they will be directed to sit with other children from their region. Their coach (leader) will be there to greet them and say hello to the parents. During this time, children will be playing together and interacting with their small group coaches. At the designated time, the worship leaders will transition the children into large group worship time. Celebrations are held at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am services.
Large Group Worship:
Children will enjoy singing, dancing, puppets and an interactive Bible lesson. The lesson focuses on one truth from the Bible and an active way the children can apply this truth to their everyday lives. Following worship, the children will go with their coaches to their small group rooms.
Small Group Time:
The small group time is a vital part of your children’s Sunday experience. Small groups are designed to place children from the same city and often the same school together to have a place where they can belong, be known and loved. During the small group time, the coaches will ask questions about the teaching and lead hands-on activities which help to reinforce the teaching of the day.
Check-Out Process:
At the end of the service, parents will return to the Children’s Center and swipe their personal bar code under the check-out scanner, placed at the bottom of the stairs, to receive a tag which is necessary to give to the teacher. The check-out receipt has the child’s name and small group room on it. Parents will pick their children up at the small group room and give the receipt to the teacher. The coach will match the receipt with the nametag and then release the child to the parent. A child will not be released to a parent without presentation of his or her corresponding tag.
Parents may check in their children at any check-in station, then walk their children to their appropriate places.
